Tours start at the Hotels in  Bentota, Aluthgama, Beruwala, Kaluthara, Kosgoda, Ahungalla, Balapitiya, and Hikkaduwa.

Morning 4 am start from Bentota and leave for Mirissa to see the whales and dolphins after we back to the
hotel on the way we can visit, Stilt Fisherman Place and Natural Moonstone mine.

Whale Watching in Mirissa, Looking for a whale of a time? Mirissa is the ultimate destination of Sri
Lanka for whale and dolphin watching – an excursion that has taken the world by storm. Venture out to the
deep sea by boat off the shores of Mirissa, a place closest to Dondra point which is near to the continental
shelf, where the migration path of whales and dolphins are found.

Stilt Fisherman Places, renowned for its splendid coastal conditions, has been the perfect place
for stilt fishing. Silhouettes of fishermen perched on vertical poles with crossbars, waiting for its daily catch
– a beautiful and picture perfect spectacle.

Natural Moonstone mine, Moonstone, a name coined by the ancient Greeks to describe a particular
stone that seems to reflect the ethereal light of the moon in solid form, has many tales woven around its
origin, use and significance. Some believe, for instance, that it denotes protection especially during
pregnancy, childbirth and travel.

At Meetiyagoda, you can see or even go down into the deep, narrow shafts from which the stones are
mined to give you a true inside view of mining and the local life that’s woven around this profession.
